Review: R-Undelete is a powerful software which can help you to download files that are deleted from your computer. This tool can be installed as a portable product. As you can put it on a portable device and run on any computer. More importantly, your registry entries in Windows, will not be affected. The interface of the program is simple and intuitive. You can start by selecting a volume to look in. Check the label type, the beginning and the size of a drive or disk. Now you can decide what kind of demand between a fast and detailed scanning for lost files. The latter option allows you to select the file type (eg, graphics, fonts, multimedia, archives). When the scan is complete, you can sort the files by their proper folder structure, extensions and creation date, modification or access. As You can view files, use the search function, you can define and use a file mask (eg, empty folders, deleted or existing files) CV disk files and more. When you select the files you want to restore, you can go the next step to specify the output destination and configure advanced options for restoration (eg, restoration of the structure of the folder itself or the entire contents of a selected folder and ignore certain file mask, not restore hidden and system attributes). The program quickly completed the task in fast mode scan, but takes a very long time to do it in case of strong demand (depending on the size of the selected volume). It occupies a low to moderate amount of system resources. However, the R-Undelete can not see any files in our tests (progress bar froze when the window popped up). Additionally, the demo some serious limitations, as you can see in the product description below. Otherwise, R-Undelete is a great tool to recover lost or deleted files from your system, and we recommend it to all users.
